The Untethered Soul

What would it be like to free yourself from limitations and soar beyond your boundaries? What can you do each day to discover inner peace and serenity? The Untethered Soul offers simple yet profound answers to these questions.

In Sapiens, Dr. Yuval Noah Harari explores why our species succeed in the battle for dominance. Why did our foraging ancestors come together to create cities and kingdoms? The book spans the whole of human history, from hunter and gatherer times to our modern day and beyond. Drawing on insights from biology, anthropology, paleontology, and economics, Harari asks some big questions, like have we become happier as history has unfolded? Can we ever free our behavior from the heritage of our ancestors? And what, if anything, can we do to influence the centuries to come?

Shoe Dog: A Memoir

As people founding and running a small business ourselves, we really loved this biography from Nike Founder & CEO, Phil Knight. In this memoir, Knight shares the inside story of the company’s early days as a newcomer to athletic shoe world to its growing global dominance.

Starting out in 1962 selling the shoes from the trunk of his lime green Plymouth Valiant, Knight grossed a mere $8,000 his first year. Today, Nike’s annual sales top $30 billion. Of course, we want to understand how this growth was accomplished, and this memoir really delivers in terms of story and story-telling craft. Knight's honesty not only on risks and rewards, but also his mistakes, setbacks, and failures which he ultimately was able to overcome is indispensable food for thought.

The Four Agreements

Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, don Miguel Ruiz reveals four limiting beliefs that are stopping us from enjoying our everyday lives.

The book is a guide to being free of these agreements we've made and offers awareness and a code of conduct to change the way we're thinking, and living.

Much like The Power of Now or The Secret, this book is a quick read and a soul opening first step to a real transformation.
